World Changing Cum
An ode to the pleasure revolution

Author’s Note: I was laying in bed one night, my eyes were closed but my mind kept repeating the phrase “what if my cum could change the world”. I got up, turned on the light, picked up my pen and began to write. And this is what came out.
What if my cum could change the world?
If my nerves heal themselves
rearranging neural pathways in a brain
once programmed solely to believe pain
her only option.
What if my cum could change the world?
If the ripples flooded into my confidence center
and I believed that I was worthy of my wildest dreams,
access granted to the fullest treasure.
What if my cum could change the world?
If I smelled and tasted another souls body for the first real time
and thanked everything good, debauched, and lovely for the sacred opportunity
to hear my name leave their lips
as their hips twitch
and soul believe that pleasure like this
could be a tangible reality.
What if my cum could change the world?
If it altered my body chemistry
and showed me the journey is more intimate than a destination.
That the nations I connect to make the air and waters cleaner.
So we can cum loudly surrounded by the music of a clear night sky,
drinking clean water in aftercare.
What if my cum could change the world?
If my pleasure changed my capacity to receive and sent healing
12 generations forward and back
Because my ancestors want to see me get my ass slapped,
choked out,
and tied up
in a way that leaves me empowered enough to take up a new level of space
so everyone after me starts a new race.
What if my cum could change the world?
I debuted this poem with The Speechless Poet & Melissa “justME” Ellis in the open mic that they host every other Tuesday. And honestly that was the first new poem I had written in quite sometime. I am immensely grateful to have had the opportunity to share it with the Spit & Ink community.
Often I think about the pleasure revolution that is occurring, specifically within Black community and how beautiful it is that we are taking back agency over our bodies. It is beautiful to hear and see because we deserve to intrinsically and instinctually understand what pleasure is. More deeply though, I believe that this orgasmic pleasure has the capacity to shift the neural path ways. To create new walks of life that are not just based in survival. I believe pleasure to be a holistic medicine, one that will gift us the knowledge that has been blocked off and re written in survival. I am excited to continue on in this journey.
In sensual devotion,
